FEBRUARY 9, 2026—All Grade 8 students and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us at their neighbourhood Regina Public high school open house! Please see the ad below for specific high school dates and times.

We welcome and encourage family and friends to volunteer in our school communities. Volunteer participation is an important complement to the work done by employees.
At the same time, Regina Public Schools is responsible to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. For this reason, all volunteers who provide services to students on a recurring, scheduled basis, or who are present in a school on a recurring, scheduled basis prior to 6:00 p.m. on school days, require an original Criminal Record Check (CRC), including a vulnerable sector check.

August 17, 2021 – Over the summer, Regina Public Schools has been adding the finishing touches to a new, comprehensive online student information portal called Edsby. Previously, students, parents and staff used PowerSchool. Access to PowerSchool was terminated at the end of this past school year, and that portal is no longer available.
May 4, 2021 -- Regina Public Schools is excited to introduce Edsby to all staff, students and parents/guardians. Edsby is a comprehensive digital learning platform that will replace the PowerSchool Parent Portal this summer. Parents/guardians will be able to use Edsby to keep up with what’s happening with their children at school and to remain active in the education of their children.
MARCH 15, 2021 -- March 21st is designated by the United Nations (UN) as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination to focus on respect, equality and diversity.
It’s a day observed all around the world to focus attention on the problems of racism and the need to promote racial harmony. The UN made this designation in 1966 to mark a tragic event that took place on March 21, 1960 in Sharpeville, South Africa when 69 peaceful demonstrators were killed during a protest against apartheid.
JANUARY 26, 2021 — Regina Public Schools places a priority on mental health and well-being for all students, staff and families. On Bell Let’s Talk Day (Thursday, January 28, 2021), join in the conversation and take action to support mental health and create positive change!

DECEMBER 8, 2020 -- Even though ice has formed on some water surfaces in Regina, residents are reminded to stay away from all bodies of water, including Wascana Lake and creek/storm channels and detention ponds in residential neighbourhoods.
Throughout the winter season, do not walk, ski, skate or play on any body of water. Parents/caregivers are asked to take a few moments to talk with children about this important safety rule.
